I Was Wrong

17 Feb

When this ridiculous attempt by conservatives to turn a birth control benefit into some kind of war on religion started, …. I wrote this in a post below———–

“I suppose there’s a small amount of legitimacy involved with the perception that some Catholic institutions are being ‘forced’ into an action that is against their belief. That can and will be worked out.

I was wrong. They’re cro-mags. Once again I’ve underestimated their baseness and stupidity.

Makes me sick that this is what republicans have decided to make an issue, when there seems to be a few other things going on in this country, and in the world, that should have everyone’s attention.

Found this on the Kos this morning,…

What’s scary is that end panel in the cartoon isn’t all that difficult to imagine the end result of this craziness being. The far-right wing does not realize how closely their views of religious-based governing philosophy parallels the religious-based Islamic world governments they hate so much.

    Agreed,… not so much difference.
For a group of people that say they want government out of their lives,— they sure don’t seem to want government out of YOUR lives. They want it there in a very personal way.
