Limbaugh’s “Apology”

03 Mar

This is garbage.

This isn’t an apology.

This is somebody who’s lost so many advertisers over this stupidity, that his bosses decided they had to do some major damage control.

Heartfelt,… isn’t it.  You can just feel the remorse.

Rush Limbaugh Apologizes To Sandra Fluke For Calling Her A ‘Slut’

“For over 20 years, I have illustrated the absurd with absurdity, three hours a day, five days a week. In this instance, I chose the wrong words in my analogy of the situation. I did not mean a personal attack on Ms. Fluke.

I think it is absolutely absurd that during these very serious political times, we are discussing personal sexual recreational activities before members of Congress. I personally do not agree that American citizens should pay for these social activities. What happened to personal responsibility and accountability? Where do we draw the line? If this is accepted as the norm, what will follow? Will we be debating if taxpayers should pay for new sneakers for all students that are interested in running to keep fit?In my monologue, I posited that it is not our business whatsoever to know what is going on in anyone’s bedroom nor do I think it is a topic that should reach a Presidential level.

My choice of words was not the best, and in the attempt to be humorous, I created a national stir. I sincerely apologize to Ms. Fluke for the insulting word choices.”

“Attempt to be humorous” ———– Bullshit

No, this isn’t an apology. He didn’t “intend” a personal attack? HOW could what he said NOT be a personal attack? I say Limbaugh needs to apologize like a real person and, instead of writing a quick note on his website site, go in front of the cameras, in front of Sandra Fluke and give a thoughful apology. And then explain to us all what lessons he is going to take away from this.

He’s done this type of thing way too many times and he needs to be held accountable this time.

I doubt you’ll get any more out of him. You can tell this was painful.
But, one good thing noted is that this prick has to bow to overwhelming public opinion because of sponsors of his show pulling out.
Money’s the only thing that matters to these people.
      And it matters a lot.

I was just watching a replay of the “apology” … Man this guy it is a piece of work. The thing that bothers me the most is his utter inability. Call someone a slut – oops that’s the liberals fault. Become a drug addict – not his fault either.
