Where Are The Jobs, Mr.President?? And Where Is The Rain??

14 Aug

These republicans are just insane.

And this is from a “leader”.

I’ll say it again,… the thing that bothers me most is that there is a large group of american crazies on the wing nut side that will pick up on this and scream about it for months.

Obama hasn’t stopped the drought!!!

My God.

Another Moron in a Long Line of Morons

By   August 14th, 2012

John Boehner was the toast of the Internet for a few minutes yesterday because of this:

Obama, “continues to blame anyone and everyone for the drought but himself,” reads a release from Boehner’s office posted online and distributed to reporters Monday. The quote was attributed to Boehner himself in a Financial Times story. […]

His staff retracted this after the DC press had few laughs, but I can’t say I’m surprised—it’s just the culmination of two years of weak-ass “I’m rubber, you’re glue” messaging. When Boehner took over, I subscribed to the “Speaker Alert”, Boehner’s mailing list, and it’s remarkably stupid even by the usually low standards of Republican political pimp sheets. It’s just a string of not very clever lies. For example, the latest one tells me that even Bill Clinton is against President Obama’s “small business tax hike”.

After Newt Gingrich drove the car into the ditch, the Republicans decided that they wanted a Wizard of Oz setup in the House, so we got dufuses like Hastert and Boehner blathering up front while Delay and Cantor scheme behind the curtain. In addition to having a dummy out front, his aides are also pretty weak. If you’re the next Paul Ryan, you probably want to work for the guys with the real power, so Boehner gets the second string of a not very deep bench of staffers. So you might think it’s an accident when the most powerful elected Republican spokesman blames the President for lack of rain, but I see it as part of the plan.
