Republicans will say that this add isn’t fair.

It uses actual footage.

How are they supposed to spin it when there’s actual footage??

But,….. you know,….. they’ll find a way.

Anyway, — this hits pretty hard. It hits hard because it’s true.

Ok first of all, outlawing abortion and allowing women access to contraceptives, are two very different things. And it’s clear what Romney’s stance on the two issues is.
On taxes. There are oodles of different types of taxes, and this video didn’t say which ones were even being referred to. From the TPC: “Gov. Romney would also permanently repeal the 0.9 percent tax on wages and the 3.8 percent tax on investment income of high-income individual taxpayers that were imposed by the 2010 health reform legislation and are scheduled to take effect in 2013.”
But here is the underlying issue, I can guarantee you that 95% of the people in that crowd, haven’t got the foggiest notion about Romney’s tax plan, Obama’s healthcare plan, Obama’s tax plan, or anything of the sort. Most of them are the type of people, who merely regurgitate what their told, rather then exercising critical thinking skills. Even if Romney’s plan goes down the tubes, and is the last thing that will work (which isn’t the case, but hypothetically speaking), even then, a person with just an ounce of critical thinking would be able to see that Obama’s plan would be far from even logical. Even if Romney wasn’t in the picture. It’s a simple matter of economics, something I don’t think Obama knows a whole lot about.

That’s an amazng amount of critical thinking.
Romney’s stance on abortion and/or contraceptives is a lot like his stance on everything and anything else. He stands where he needs to stand on that day. And will change it accordingly on the next.
I have seen absolutely nothing that tells me what Romney’s definitive plans are for his “tax plan”. Nothing. If that were out there, it would be plastered all over the intrawebs. It’s not. The term vague isn’t enough.
100% of people in ANY crowd don’t have the ability to follow Romney’s tax plan, because it doesn’t exist yet.
Obama has cut taxes,…. do you deny that?
Health care reform isn’t and will never be an easy play. Any system that big, cumbersome, and corrupt because of the game that’s played between health care systems, big Pharm, and insurance companies will be a slog to get under anything that even resembles control.
That’s why, IMO, government is the only entity with the push to even be able to try.
Free market resolution my ass,…. free market principles, … which includes Gordon Gekko principles,…. is why the health care system is so fucked up in this country now. Have you ever tried to “shop” for the best deal on a CAT scan??There’s 3 health care systems in the city I’m in. Choices are limited. You can’t shop around too awful much, can you.
And one last thing. When I have somebody try to tell me that “it’s a simple matter of economics” when we’re talking about a thing the size and complexity of the US economy, then I don’t think I’ll listen too close when they tell me Obama doesn’t know.
“Simple” economics GW style brought us 2008. Thanks for that.
