Newt Gingrich – The Best of the Republican Best

26 Oct

Just remind yourself,… Newt has always been one of the premier intellectual standard bearers of the republican party.

So we can be sure that both of these projections will absolutely become fact. The moon base thing may be a little tougher, and take a little longer, because his intellect apparently kept him from coming anywhere near the presidency. But I’m sure he’s still making plans.

If the republican party wasn’t so dangerous, they’d actually be fun to watch.

 To the Moon, Newt!

Newt Gingrich described himself as a visionary when he unveiled plans Wednesday to create a mammoth new space program, including a permanent colony on the moon within the next nine years. Within eight years, he pledges a new Mars rocket program—specifically, a “continually operating propulsion system) capable of getting to Mars within a remarkably short time.” He also reiterated his plan to declare at least part of the moon as U.S. territory, with colonists capable of petitioning for statehood status.

And now, this –

Newt Gingrich: 300 electoral votes for Mitt Romney

Newt Gingrich is predicting that this election will be a near-landslide victory for Mitt Romney.

“I believe the minimum result will be 53-47 Romney, over 300 electoral votes, and the Republicans will pick up the Senate,” the former House speaker said Thursday night on Fox News’s “On the Record with Greta Van Susteren.”
