You just can’t make this sh%t up

Just saw this from  Hunter at  The KOS.

After the first minute of belly-laugh,… followed by a kind of sickening disgust that hasn’t quite gone away yet,… I thought that I had to make sure at least a couple more people would see it.

A former Virginia plantation.   Nice,…. very nice.   I see no irony.

GOP retreat to feature helpful tips on how not to piss off women, minorities

Things are complicated by the fact that their discussion on talking with minorities is being held in the Burwell Plantation room, named after the famous Virginia slave plantation. The entire GOP retreat is being held on the remnants of the Kingsmill Plantation, which advertises itself thusly:

Kingsmill is a place steeped in honored traditions and genuine Southern hospitality. When the first English foot was placed in Virginia, it was here on these grounds that once served as a central part of the area’s plantation life in the 1600s through 1800s.Today, Kingsmill Resort retains those magnificent traits inherent in Kingsmill’s early life with grand accommodations, gracious hospitality and stately service.

Gracious hospitality! Stately service, just like in Kingsmill’s “early life,” when mumble mumble mumble! (Rejected slogan: Come to Kingsmill, and we’ll make you forget slavery ever ended.)
